The Uganda Nurses and Midwives Examinations Board (UNMEB) has released the June 2023 cohort Exam results.
The results were released earlier this day (Thursday 31August,2023) at the office of the President.
Speaking during the release ceremony, Hellen Mukakarisa, Executive Director UNMEB said there is an improved performance of candidates at the certificate level and a failure rate at the diploma level.
She attributed the failure to challenges related to school fees payment and social disruptions.
At total of 50,942 candidates sat for the June Cohort examinations.
“Of these, 34,122 are continuing students while 16,024 were finalists who are slated to be released to various hospitals across the country,” read records at UNMEB.
According to the released results, 44,414 passed the examinations; 6,146 failed the exams (ungraded), while 383 did not turn up for the examinations.
The performance under certificate arrangement is as follows; 242 (1.7%) passed with distinctions, 10,307 (73.9%) passed at credit level, and 1,780 (12.8%) at pass level.
Request to UNMEB to give provision to students accessing their results on phone.
