Dr. Apio Eunice Otuko, candidate for Oyam North county parliamentary by-election on Uganda People’sCongress (UPC) is taking over Oyam district with her massive electoral campaigns.
The ‘development activist’ as she refers to herself, Apio yesterday held a massive campaign in Acaba sub-county where hundreds of thousands voters camped to listen to her political message.
She pledged to lobby projects and services that will improve household income and livelihoods in Oyam North, as well as championing for better service delivery in the area when elected to parliament. She made the pledges amidst cheers from a mamoth of voters majority youths and the women attending her rally.
She pledged to She was flanked by the Party Secretary General Hon. Ebil Fred, Regional Vice Chairperson of Lango Mr. Chris Ongom, and former LC V Chairperson of Oyam Hon. Adea Nelson among other leaders.
Dr. Eunice has been touching base with the people of Oyam District and she is known for her remarkable community services which have highly contributed to the household development of the people in the district.
Muzeyi Faizo, the head of media and communications at UPC describes Dr Apio as a lobbyist and an industrious leader through her Oyam North shall socio-economically outshine the region.
“Based on that Personal record and the Party, the people of Oyam North see a great leader in her and we strongly believe that the electorates are determined to send Dr. Eunice to Parliament on 6th July 2023 and benefit from her rich experience in communal services through the opportunities she will lobby and bring home,” he said
Dr. Apio became second in the 2021 elections for Oyam North county and she’s one of the best contenders in the race.
Today, Dr. Eunice and Team are in Ngai Sub County and tomorrow they will be in Abok Sub County to mobilise more support and converse for votes.
