Uganda’s National Women’s Cricket Team, the Victoria Pearls, will face off against three other nations in the Lyca Women’s Day Cup series, hosted by the Uganda Cricket Association at Entebbe Cricket Oval starting this Friday.

According to the Uganda Cricket Association, the LYCA Women’s Day Cup competition has been organized to celebrate the progress of women’s cricket and inspire future generations of female cricketers.
