A tik tok video of Kenyan politician has shocked netizens after he cried in a video cursing voters for eating his money and later denied him votes.
Festus Kithinji aka Papa Festus became an online sensation when he shed tears of bitterness after he was rejected by voters in Mbeu ward, Meru county.
Papa Festus said he had spent all his savings on campaigns, and was certain of clinching the MCA seat, only for the voters to reject him.
The Wiper Party aspirant took to TikTok where he cursed the voters for rejecting him and leaving him broke. Citizen Digital caught up with him and he had this to share.
In 10 mnutes long video; the politician narrates how he had saved the money for the election since his time at a university and how he had used it to help needy voters footing their medical bills, school fee support among others.
He says the decision by voters to accept bribery by his rival and vote him to power is not only unfair to him but also sad and heartbreaking.
