Wakiso Giants progressed to the next round of this year’s Uganda Cup after eliminating Fort Portal Boda Boda FC at the round of 64.

An early goal from Norman Ogik set the pace for the visitors who led 2-0 at the break before closing shop in the second half.
Moses Aliro and Frank Ssebufu both returning to the Uganda Cranes team that played at CHAN in Algeria scored the other goals for Wakiso Giants.
Ogik fired the visitors into an early lead, scoring as early as the seventh minute before Aliro stretched the lead midway through the first half.
The consolation for the home side came from Hamza in the 63rd minute who gave his team hope of comeback.
