The prestigious recognition from the Public Opinions is a testament to her outstanding contributions and commitment to Uganda’s development, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) and Uganda Vision 2040.

Ms. Seku’s exceptional passion, dedication, and unwavering support for the Patriotism program across the country have led to remarkable milestones in just eleven months she has spent in a national office.

She has successfully integrated patriotism into almost every school and extended its reach to the informal sector like market vendors, boda and taxi drivers as well as the young adults from different communities.

As a Commissioner, she articulated a clear vision for all citizens to embrace the core values of patriotism and Pan-Africanism, contributing to socio-economic transformation among the youth community countywide.

Seku also gone an extra mile to conducting several outreaches in secondary schools and higher institutions of learning, empowering youth to become responsible, resilient, and patriotic citizens.

Commonly known as commander Seku, she has ensured the effectiveness in promoting patriotism and national values by carrying out several visits to many schools aiming at assessing the performance of patriotism clubs in all schools countrywide.

All this fosters loyalty, discipline, and sacrifice essential for Uganda’s growth, transformation and prosperity.

On her part, Ms. Seku praised President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s wisdom to establish NSPC under his office and the dedication to promoting patriotism, nationalism, and Pan-Africanism, recognizing his vital role in Uganda’s socio-economic transformation.

She expressed gratitude to the organizers for recognizing her efforts, saying it was an honor she cannot take lightly.

The Uganda Development Champions Journal will feature profiles of outstanding leaders, including Ms. Seku, who have made significant contributions to Uganda’s development.

Who is Seku?

Seku holds a Master’s degree of Law from Makerere University, she went to Oguti primary school in Tororo, Tororo Girls School for O’level and Gayaza High School for A’ level.

She is so far the youngest and first female Commissioner to head NSPC which had been led by Senior Military officers since its inception.
