Church of Uganda Diocese of West Ankole on Sunday welcomed 10 new members of the catholic faith who converted to the Anglican faith.
The new christians were welcomed by the Bishop of West Ankole Diocese Rt. Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni in a confirmation service celebrated at St. Mark Archdeaconry in Kyamuhunga, Igara West Bushenyi district
Over 330 christians including the converts were confirmed to the CoU.
Speaking at the service, Bishop challenged Christians to love one another and work hard stressing that God blesses their efforts.
While delivering her teaching, Mama Joy Twinomujuni highlighted asked christians to prioritize family needs, hold family meetings and preserve respect for one another in order to avoid conflicts which she says are the leading killers of families.
She says ill practices like adultery, disrespect ruin families urging married couples to work together and raise exemplary families.

Kyamuhunga Archdeaconry Archdeacon Ven Rev Can. Geofrey Kamaragane Mukunde, thanked the Bishop and Joy for for visiting the Archdeaconry.
He noted some of the achievements the church has recorded in the recent years including preaching the gospel, construction of the Archdeacon’s house and priests’ houses, remitting the Diocesan quota, uniting with other Religions in the area, supporting schools and institutions, Archdeaconary vehicle, tree project, Pastoral visits among others.
Kamaragane further showed commitment to continue spreading the gospel, finishing and furnishing the Archdeacon’s house and building commercial houses for income generation.
