In momentous occasion,URDT Institute under URDT project held its successful 2nd graduation ceremony on Wednesday November 30.
The event was blessed by prominent boards including Retaired major John Tumugabirwe the RDC Ntoroko District. He urged the graduands to leverage resources and work together in groups to set up personal businesses so as to improve their livelihoods and job creations.
He noted that this will lead to prosperity of the business, he further encouraged students to love what they have achieved by practicing and utilizing the knowledge and skills acquired rather than keeping their certificates for no use. According to him, it’s hell to be poor should be a motto for the graduates.
Namutebi Annet, manager URDT commended the Ntoroko District Local Government administration for its cooperation stating that the district has never given hard time to the institute.
Also on political side, William Kisoro, LCV chairman of Ntoroko district hailed URDT the institute and its funders; master card foundation that has enabled the district to achieve better in skills. He said the district is committed to supporting education programmes that seek to cause development in the area.
