Police in Hoima city has commenced on investigation underwhich a businessman died in a hotel room.
The deceased is Joshua Tebagwa, a businessman and resident of Katanga village Bugambe sub-county Kikuube district, he was found lying helpless in his booked room at Crown Hotel in Kijungu Hoima City on Tuesday.
According to reports, Tebagwa a frequent client at the hotel booked a room at around 2am when he had come for pleasure with a yet to identify woman.
Having taken long to get out, the Hotel manager became suspicious because the client would book in for between 30 minutes and 1 hour with different ladies.
The manager then decided to go and check up on the client through a window but no response could be heard and police was informed.
A team of detectives led by D/Cpl Deus Mwijuka visited the scene to ascertain the situation.
Police says that the deceased could have fainted while having sex pleasure with the yet to identify woman.
“His body was found lifeless in the bed lying on its back, facing on the left while halfway covered. His phone was missing and is suspected to have been taken by the woman he was with,” Police said.
Police added that they will review the CCTV footages at the hotel to track down the woman who was with the deceased in the hotel.
