Police in Lyantonde district is holding in custody Fidel Ahimbisibwe, alias Zizinga a teacher at Rwamabara Senior Secondary (government School) after he was found with stolen computers belonging to the same school.

Ahimbisibwe also doubles as the stealing  district Registrar of the ruling NRM party.

The school deputy headteacher, Moses Ayebare said management reported to police after they found out that 10 computers were missing in the school computer laboratory.

Police with the help of sniffer dogs arrived at the scene and the dog led them to the teacher’s residence.

Upon opening the residence, police recovered six computers of the stolen ten computers and immediately arrested the suspect (Ahimbisibwe).

Oolice has since launched a search for the remaining four computers while Ahimbisibwe is being detained at Lyantonde CPS.

The Lyantonde RDC, Godfrey Mbeitegereze, has said that the suspect will be produced to court anytime soon on charges of theft.
