Uganda is hosting Rugby Africa women’s cup qualifiers and Pool B teams are already inland to showcase talents. The first game happened on Tuesday October 25, played at Wankulukuku stadium.
The rugby African women’s cup is being played in the whole of Africa and Uganda is under pool B which includes, Uganda, Zambia and Kenya.
Uganda has played the first game against Zambia, with a squad of 25 players in the 15s game. The Ugandan team was led by Lady Cranes Rugby Captain Peace Lekuru who gave the team a victorious day.
Uganda lady cranes won the day with 36:17 and the MVP of the day was our own Capt Peace Lekuru.
