On February 14th, 2025, Stanbic Bank celebrated Valentine’s Day in style by treating its private clients to an exclusive premiere of the highly anticipated film, Captain America: Brave New World. The event was a heartfelt gesture to express gratitude for the ongoing support and loyalty of the bank’s valued clientele.

Held at the Acacia Mall Century Cinemax, the evening began with blue carpet arrivals where clients were welcomed with refreshments and special gifts inside Nawaab Restaurant. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as attendees mingled, sharing their love for cinema and enjoying the upscale environment.

This glamourous session was hosted by Next Radio’s Timothy Code and NTV’s the Beat show host Sammy Wetala tenderized the night with amazing sets of trivia, which kept a beautiful smile on the attendee’s faces in partnership with Pepsi Uganda, Swangz Avenue and Century Cinemax

As the lights dimmed, guests were ushered into the screening room, where they experienced the adrenaline-fueled adventure of Captain America alongside other Marvel characters. The film, which explores themes of bravery, friendship, and sacrifice, resonated particularly well with the audience, prompting moments of laughter, cheer, and applause throughout the screening.

During the gathering, Arthur Kiwanuka Head of Personal and Private banking expressed his appreciation for the support of the private clients and reiterated Stanbic’s commitment to providing exceptional banking experiences that cater to the needs of their clientele.

Following the movie, Stanbic Bank hosted an intimate reception where clients could further engage with bank representatives and fellow moviegoers.

“This event is not only a way to celebrate love but also to thank our clients for their trust in us. We are dedicated to offering unique experiences that reflect our appreciation,” said Kiwanuka adding that the premier means they were the first people to watch Captain America in a Ugandan Cinema, something that can’t be taken for granted.

The Valentine’s Day movie premiere provided an unforgettable experience for clients, combining entertainment with personal connections, and reinforcing the bank’s commitment to its community, something in line with its purpose, “Uganda is our home we drive her growth.”

Here are some of the photos from the event.
