Anicia Gaothusi was crowned Miss Botswana 2024 at a dazzling event held in Tlokweng, showcasing her grace and elegance. The 22-year-old beauty from Tutume triumphed over 9 other contestants, earning the prestigious title previously held by Lesego Chombo. Not a newcomer to the pageant scene, Gaothusi had been crowned Miss Teen Botswana in 2019.
The evening also saw Halle Hirschfeld being named the 1st Princess, adding to the already impressive lineup of winners. Additionally, Sebaga Manyapetsa was honored as the 2nd Princess, further solidifying the talented pool of contestants this year. Notably, Hirschfeld was applauded for her victory in the Top Model category, while Charmaine Reasentse claimed the Beauty With a Purpose title and Sebaga Manyapetsa shone brightly in the Multimedia category.
With her new title, Anicia Gaothusi will proudly represent Botswana at the upcoming 72nd Miss World pageant, showcasing her poise and charm on an international stage.
