Another gun attack has been reported in Lungujja few days after gunmen killed the Ndiga clan head Eng. Lwomwa Daniel Bbosa in the same area.
On Thursday evening February 29, gunshots we’re heard in Kitunzi – Lungujja when unknown gunmen travelling in a White Drone car invaded the area and started firing live bullets.
During the gun fire incident, one woman identified as Milly, operating a merchandise shop was abducted and whisked to an unknown place.
The incident follows a Sunday evening gun attack in which Buganda Kingdom clan head for Ndiga clan wars brutally shot dead in his vehicle near his home.
Thursday gun attack has attracted demands from prominent figures from the Kingdom and the Central government such as the former Vice President, H.E Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi who called for expeditious investigations into gun violence in Lungujja.
“I call upon the security agencies to address the situation in Lungujja-Kitunzi ,I have just heard bullets again this evening in Kitunzi,” Ssekandi said.
By press time, police had not issued out an official statement regarding the attack and the abduction of the victim.
