The Most Rev. Dr. Samuel Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, received a warm welcome last evening from the Rt. Rev. Gaddie Akanjuna, Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi, in anticipation of the 25th graduation ceremony of Uganda Christian University-Bishop Barham College, set to take place on Friday, November 15, 2024.
The Archbishop, who concurrently serves as Chancellor of Uganda Christian University, was greeted with a vibrant procession led by a band as he made his way through Kabale town.
During a welcoming dinner held on the college campus, Bishop Akanjuna expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the students and staff of Bishop Barham University College for their enthusiastic reception. He also acknowledged the Kabale community for their participation in the welcome festivities, emphasizing that the Archbishop’s visit was a significant honor for the entire municipality.
This afternoon, November 14, 2024, Archbishop Dr. Kaziimba is scheduled to officiate the commissioning of graduates at the Multipurpose Hall of Bishop Barham University College in the Northern Division of Kabale Municipality.
