Arua Diocese Bishop, Rt. Rev. Sabino Ocan Odoki, has announced new appointments of priests within the diocese.
According to the appointments, Fr. Vitali Atara has been named the new Parish Priest of Indriani Sub-Parish, Fr. Deo Ayisibwe Mugenyi has been appointed Parish Priest of St. Mary’s Assumpta, Fr. Jino has been assigned as the Dean of Nyadri Deanery, and Msgr. Joseph Awidde has been appointed Parish Priest of Adu Parish.
The Bishop made these announcements during the ordination of four seminarians to the diaconate at Sacred Heart of Jesus Ediofe Cathedral on Saturday.
The newly ordained deacons are Deacon John Edema, Deacon Charles Magonza, Deacon Br. Mark Aakawu Acholi, and Deacon Walter Amagule.
These deacons will undergo a year of pastoral work and fulfill other vocational requirements before their priestly ordination.
