Former Presidential candidate and celebrated musician Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine and his wife Barbie Itungo Kyagulanyi on Sunday decided to host a photo booth launch party at the spot of their wedding proposal to debut their great contribution to building relationships and strong families.
Opened at One Love Beach Busabala, owned by the couple, the photo booth launch party served as thanking the Almighty God for the 12yrs Anniversary of the two lovebirds wedding.
“Dear lovers. We have chosen to mark the spot where we sat when Bobi Wine proposed to me ❤️🫶🏽! We have built a photo booth at the very spot where we sat when he told me the story of how he had bought my engagement ring from a random buy and sell shop in South Africa,” said Barbie.
According to Itungo, the spot / photo Booth is open for lovers to reserve for their wedding vows, wedding anniversaries, bridal showers and Engagement dinners.
On 27th August, 2011, Bobi wedded Barbie in a Holy Matrimony and the wedding mass was celebrated at Rubaga Cathedral – the heart of Kampala Archdiocese in Kampala city. The wedding was witnessed by Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga (RiP), then Archbishop of Kampala. The couple however, had been together for the previous 10 years and with the children.

When you came into my life, You made it your sole duty to elevate me at any given opportunity. You continue to highlight the best parts of me and mostly those I never knew I had. I can’t appreciate you enough for the kind of person you have succeeded at turning me into. When I prayed and fasted for a husband back in my Secondary Five, I wrote down a number of qualities. You have them all! What I forgot to include in my prayer book, was how funny my man was supposed to be! Babe, I love how you pick out the funny parts in any event! You make me happy! You make me laugh even during the hardest moments and I appreciate you for that.
Today on our 12th wedding anniversary, I want to specifically thank you for the wedding I never at any one point dreamt of. Thank you for choosing to present our Union before God, for committing to go gray and decrepit with me. In future, when I am too old and I have memory loss, I am sure that I won’t forget how our wedding day made me feel. Happy Anniversary Babe. I love you most.

On this day 12years ago, I had the greatest honour of walking down the isle with you, the girl of my dreams.
We had dated for 10years and even had children. Infact we were already married by our own ghetto standards.
However, #27thAugust2011 still stands out as the happiest day of my life.
