Police in Kampala have launched a manhunt for a suspect who murdered a Boda Boda cyclist in Nakawa, Kampala.
The suspect only identified as Hakim allegedly murdered Simon Kapalaga, 23, a resident of Tuba zone, Nakawa division in Kampala on Saturday.
ASP Luke Oweyeisigire, the Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson said the deceased had given his motorcycle for a self-ride but returned to the deceased without it claiming that he had parked the motorcycle in a parking yard in Kisaasi.
It is further alleged that the suspect pleaded to the deceased for accommodation after he excused that his wife was not around and had no keys to their house.

He said the deceased body was found with derp cuts in the chest. Police also recovered a knife suspected to have been used in the murder.
One other suspect (identity protected) is in police custody while the deceased’s body is in the city mortuary.
