A Boda boda cyclist in Rukiga district has died on spot after being involved in a nasty road accident.
The accident occurred on Sunday morning at Katera Mabare cell known as Rwemirama along Kyogo road, Kamwezi Sub-county in Rukiga district.
The deceased is identified Isaac Aryangongera, resident of Omukigano cell, Kyabuhangwa Parish in Kamwezi sub county.
Eye witnesses said he (Aryangogyera) died after a Boda Bajaj Boxer registration number UFP 380F he was riding had a head on collision with a Fuso truck registration Number UAY 415S.
Two people who were aboard the Fuso truck were also critically injured and rushed to a nearby health center for treatment.
The Rukiga District traffic police led by ASP Apilla Lilian and other detectives visited the scene of the accident to assess the situation.
According to ASP Apilla, the body of Aryasingura was taken to Rukiga Health centre IV while the Boda Boda and the truck were towed to Rukiga police station.
