Frail Bunyoro – Kitara Kingdom head, Omukama Dr. Solomon Gafabusa Iguru I has been airlifted to Kampala for emergency treatment.
According to reports the King was airlifted after developing a strange illness.
“Our King has just been airlifted to Kampala for better medical management,” anonymous source said.
However, the chief Prince of Bunyoro, Eng Fred Ruchunya Mugenyi confirmed the matter saying the Omukama developed cough and has been taken for treatment.
“We feared the cough could develop into pneumonia if not urgently attended too,” he said
By the time of publication, the kingdom had not released an official statement regarding the hospital where the king is receiving treatment.
