Uganda National U-20 football team ( The Hippos) has humiliated 6-1 past Burundi in group B AFCON U-20 qualifier (CECAFA Zone) at the Shiekh Amri Abeid Stadium in Arusha.
Striker Ivan Bogere and Isma Mugulusi scored a brace as Najib Yiga and second half substitute Joseph Kizza Bukenya scored a goal each for Morley Byekwaso side to triumph over Burundi on Wednesday afternoon.
Bogere broke the dreadlock with three minutes left to end the first stanza before Yiga strike to make 2-0 during half time break.

Upon restart of the second half, Bogere got his second on the day, a well converted kick from the penalty mark after a hand-ball calling the forbidden area.
Mugulusi scored the fourth and fifth goals before second half substitute Joseph Kizza Bukenya final counted the sixth.
Kevin Icoyitungiye’s late strike served as a consolation for the Burundi youngsters after a defensive mix-up in the Uganda Hippos goal area.
Uganda has 4 points from two matches following a goal-less stalemate with South Sudan on Monday.
Uganda Hippos will be waiting for the results between South Sudan who face off on Friday.
