A 22-year- old housemaid in Kazo district has died following the brutal murder allegedly by the area local council one chairman’s son.
The deceased is Amperize Rosemary, a renown housemaid in the home Akembogo village, chairman (identity not disclosed) in Rwigi parish, Burunga Sub-county, Kazo district.
According to reports, the deceased was allegedly killed by her boss’ son a one Jeremiah Kasasira, 25, who residents accuse of drug and alcohol abuse.
Police preliminary report indicates that the suspect used a sharp panga to cut the maid who sied on spot due to severe bleeding
At least one person (Kasasira) has been arrested as a prime suspect in this murder to help police in investigation. He is currently detained at Kazo police station
Meanwhile, police from Kazo visited the scene of the crime and taken the deceased body to Kazo Health Centre IV for postmortem.
