HTM Give and Give Foundation successfully reached out to the Widows in Nabitaama Village in Luuka District, donating a number of items in a bid to bring a smile to the lonesome women in the Festive Season. They are grateful to those that supported their cause.
Asan Kezimbira the CEO of HTM Give and Give Foundation said that they carry out this outreach twice every year. He noted that, this year, unlike the others, most of the resources came from well wishers.
“At HTM Give and Give Foundation, it’s our tradition to assist the less fortunate twice annually. This time, my team and I embarked on a journey of over 140 kilometers from Kampala, Uganda’s capital, to Nabitaama village in Luuka district to support widows with the resources you shared with us,” he reiterated.
“Like Ben Carson said, happiness doesn’t result from what we get, but from what we give. Every day, each of us has a part to play in bringing a smile to someone’s face. We firmly believe in the philosophy that “we are because you are.”
“We genuinely appreciate every contribution made towards this cause. May you be blessed abundantly for your kindness.”
According to Umar Kisekka, the communications officer at HTM Give and Give Foundation who was also the lead mobliser for the charity outreach in Luuka District, Nabitaama village, everything ran on the theme, “A Beacon of Hope.”
“Your generosity and commitment have played an instrumental role in reaching out to vulnerable families, making a tangible difference in their lives, and bringing smiles and happiness to their faces,” Kisekka noted in appreciation to those who contributed to the outreach.
“Without your support, this mission would have remained a distant dream. Together, we have showcased the true spirit of community and compassion,” he added.
