KAMPALA
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced a temporary breakdown of services at passport collection Centre in Kyambogo today.
According to the Public Relations Office at the ministry Simon Mundeyi, this is due to damaged fibre optic cable that affected their system.
“Due to damaged fibre optic cable that has adversely affected our system, we are unable to issue passports at our passport issuance office in Kyambogo” said Mundeyi.
The ministry also added at they are working around the clock with the relevant agencies to ensure restoration of normal service at the earliest
