The newly transferred to Kigezi region Police Standard Unit (PSU) officer D/Asp Turyasingura David has passed on.
The Kigezi regional Police spokesperson, Elly Maate has confirmed to reports.
According to Maate, Turyasingura had a successful galbladder -galstones operation at Bethel surgical clinic Kigongi where he breathed his last moments later.
The deceased had newly been transferred to Kigezi as the Regional professional standard Unit (PSU) officer from Masaka.
He had not spent a week at his new place of work.

“This officer had not even spent a week here”- Maate said.
Turyasingura will be laid to rest at his ancestral home in Kanungu District.
