Residents in Kitende Entebbe Municipality Wakiso district were on Saturday evening left shocked after an unidentified man died after set himself ablaze.
It is alleged that the deceased used petrol which he first drunk before burning himself.
Eye witnesses say the deceased came while running with fire flames all over his body collapsed in the road and it was impossible to rescue him.
It is however not understood why the deceased could victimize himself, but some people said he may have been depressed due to the challenges of COVID-19 lockdown while otbers alleged that he must have been a thief running away from the mob.
Police visited the scene of the incident and picked the body as investigation continues.
