Former Kampala Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago has been arrested.
The Lord Mayor emeritus had earlier posted that security operatives had so rounded his home in Nateete-Wakaliga under unclear reasons. These later broke into his home and forced him into a waiting van and whisked him into unknown detention.
“Am under attack,the security operatives have jumped in my home,” Lukwago posted on X, hours before his arrest.
The circumstances surrounding his arrest and the case linked to it are yet to be investigated. More details to follow….
