Controversial Maj Gen (Rtd) Kahinda Otafiire donates to Mitooma DTF.

In earlier reports, Kahinda Otafiire had claimed not to have received the money. However under parliamentary laws, Ex Officials who are ministers now though not elected to parliament were given the 20 million.

Kahinda had also vowed never to deliver even a kilogram of Maize flour to the task force claiming that he has no constituency he represents.

Ms Ada Nasiima, the RDC Mitooma thanked Kahinda Otafiire for donating to his people. Kahinda Otafiire lost Parliamentary seat in 2016 to incumbent Capt Dononzio Kahonda.

Almost all prominent political figures from Mitooma have by today contributed something to the district task force to support people, healthcare workers and the team.

On Thursday May 14th, Mp Kahonda donated an Ambulance, 80 Jerrycans of Liquid soap and other Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) to the district task force. Earlier alone, other area legislators; Hon Jovah Kamateeka – district WMP and Hon Thomas Tayebwa – MP Ruhinda North had already contributed food relief to the DTF.

Rumours have it that kahinda otafiire is bouncing back for Ruhinda county parlimently seat in 2021.
