Micheal Mugisha a fresh graduate of Masters of Pharmacy in Pharmaceuticals and Health Supply Management in Makerere University’s 71st graduation ceremony is making rounds in newsrooms after he gifted his lecturer with half an acre piece of land of land.
The gifted hands lecturer Dr Fadhiru Kamba is the Head of Pharmacy Department at Makerere University. He was the graduand’s thesis/ research supervisor.
The gifted land is locateland is located in Kikyusa, Luweero district.
Mugisha say the decision to reward his lecturer came as a result of the lecturer’s for unwavering support rendered during his research project.
“I spent months on my research project because I did not have time. I was so busy running my businesses but Dr Kamba was so good to me in that he used push me, encouraged and motivated me to carry out my research and eventually graduate.” Mugisha explained.
Upon receiving a land title, the at cloud nine Dr Kamba applauded Mugisha for his generosity.
“I have never received such a gift in my 44 years of service. Thank you Mike [Mugisha] and may the good Lord bless your generous heart,” the over the moon Dr Kamba said.
Mugisha owns ove 62 acres of land in Kikyusa Luweero occupied mostly with eucalyptus trees part of which he has gifted to Dr. Kamba.
