The body of a man has been found in Mitooma district.
The deceased identified as Venansio Turyamureeba also known as Kishaija, a peasant and a resident of Omukihogo trading centre, Nyaruhita village, Rurehe South parish, Rurehe sub-county Ruhinda South in Mitooma district. His body was found lying helpless on the roadside in a neighboring village of Kitanoga, Nyabutembe, Rurehe sub-county in mid morning hours of Boxing Day.

Reports indicate that the body was first discovered by a one Annette, a business woman in Omukihogo TC while she returned from church and Sylvester Kigarama also a resident in the area.
Eyewitnesses allege that the deceased might have died due to excessive alcohol consumption.

“He slipped off and critically got fractures, but he must have been drunk,” anonymous source told Parrots Media.
By press time, the body was still at the scene of the crime as residents were waiting for Local Council authorities and police to examine the scene and take the body for a post mortem examination to establish the actual cause of his death.
