Forward Clinton Kamugisha set the tone early, striking twice in the 8th and 13th minutes to give the City boys a comfortable cushion before halftime.
Second-half substitute Gerald Ogwet sealed the victory with a clinical finish in the 79th minute, ensuring Mbarara City walked away with all three points.The emphatic win not only silenced the home crowd but also propelled Mbarara City to the top of Group C standings with 8 points, underscoring their strong campaign in this year’s tournament.
