On Sunday 7 January, Kiruhura district Woman member of parliament Hon. Jovanice Rwenduru met with the district student’s leader, Clinton Nabimanya at the parliament of the Republic of Uganda.
It was an opportunity for Nabimanya to raise students’ concerns about internship and job placements to the legislator.
“During our interaction, I presented a request for securing internship placements for students in higher institutions of learning or universities,” said Nabimanya.
As a commitment to contribute to career development and professionalism in the district, MP Rwenduru accepted to lobby at least 150 placements to benefit students from Kiruhura district according to the students’ leader, Nabimanya.
The students leadership in Kiruhura district further commended Hon. Rwenduru for her exemplary and strong leadership, community development despite different political affiliations of the constituents.
“In tirelessly working for her people, she embodies the essence of genuine representation and strives for the betterment of the community she serves,” Nabimanya commended.
