The match ended 1-0 setting up what will surely be an exciting return leg next week 27th October in Nkozi.
Speaking to journalists shortly after the match ended, Collines Ahumuza, the head coach of UCU said that she’s optimistic that her team will take the trophy home again.
Meanwhile, Makerere University Business School (MUBS) has made a stride to return to the league following their successful petition over the Kyambogo University’s use of an impersonator during their quarter-final second leg win at Nakawa. This mean that the Banda based campus has been disqualified from the league.
Pepsi University Football League semi-finals continues on Tuesday 25th October 2022 when St. Lawrence University (SLAU) will host MUBS at the main campus playground in Kavuule, Kampala.
