In a recent mini cabinet reshuffle, President Museveni has dropped Kitutu and Nandutu from their positions, as they have been facing challenges related to handling cases involving Karamoja iron sheets. Surprisingly, Lugosi has been left untouched amidst the changes.
The new appointments bring fresh faces to the cabinet, with Hon Lilian Aber taking on the role of State Minister of Relief Disaster and Preparedness. Balam Barugahara has been appointed as the Minister of State for Gender Labour and Social Development for Youth Affairs, while Gen Wilson Mbadi, the Chief of Defense Forces (UPDF), will now serve as the Minister of State for Investment, Industry Trade, and Cooperatives.
President Museveni’s decision to reshuffle the cabinet reflects his commitment to ensuring effective governance and addressing challenges faced by different ministries. With the inclusion of new faces in key positions, the government aims to bring about positive changes and improve the overall functioning of the administration.
As the new ministers settle into their roles, expectations are high for them to drive progress and deliver on their respective mandates. The reshuffle signifies a strategic move towards bolstering decision-making processes and ensuring efficient implementation of policies that will benefit the country and its citizens.
