MBARARA
1,327 students at Mbarara university of science and technology have graduated in various disciplines.
Mbarara University of Science and Technology held a colorful 29th Graduation Ceremony on Saturday, 27th May,2023 at the university’s Kihumuro Campus Grounds.
The function, presided over by the university’s Chancellor, Prof. Charles Olweny, saw 1,327students awarded Degrees and Diplomas of Mbarara University of Science and Technology.
The state minister for higher education John Chrysostom Muyingo challenged graduates to use their skills to be productive to the country.
In his remarks Minister Muyingo also noted that the current saga in the country of expired courses is just a weak wind which he says the issue is currently being addressed.
Among the awards, 27 people graduated with the doctorate of philosophy in different integrities.
Among the masters graduates was Bwesigye Neema procurement officer at Holy innocents children’s hospital in Nyamitanga Mbarara who graduated with Masters of procurement. He told our reporter that it has not been an easy Journey to his success.
