A stationary car belonging to Nile Breweries on Tuesday (November 1) evening rammed into a building in Bushenyi district.
The double vehicle registration no. UBE 739B which was parked at former Trends inn was allegedly in a free gear before it drove itself into the building of Godfrey Owakubaruho alias Manager along Liberation road Bushenyi town.
The accident has been blamed on poor parking.
Further reports allege that the vehicle had transported mourners to the burial of Rev. Fr. Bashobora’s grandson Cassias Tumwine.
The vehicle was towed to Bushenyi central police station. No fatalities and human life injuries were recorded in the accident.
Attempts to get a comment from the property owner were futile however, his lawyer counsel Michael Kasenene revealed that they will file a suit against Nile Breweries seeking for compensation of the lost property.
“I will ensure that my client is duly compensated all that he has lost,” Kasenene said
