Police have dismissed reports by bloggers alleging that the 14 girls rescued from a Guest House in Muyenga were being trained in un natural acts and acts of bestiality with the dogs.
Following the rescue of the 14 young girls from a Guest House in Muyenga, a number of news bloggers including the Nile Post, Uganda Radio Network (URN) among others washed social media with reports that the girls were being trained to sleep with the dogs.
Police has since dispelled the reports as falsehoods stressing that the 14 girls were rescued after a tip off from a whistle blower at the Guest House who got concerned after noticing that the care taker Dorothy Ndagire was forcing the girls to share same room and bed with the puppies.
According to Police, the whistle blower said that the girls were always seen moving, and carrying with the dogs all the time something that prompted police to raid the premises.
The Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesperson, ASP Luke Owoyesigyire has however clarified that police has no medical evidence that the girls were being used or trained in beastiality acts.
“There is no evidence that shows whether the girls were being forced to perform in natural acts, acts of beastiality with the dogs,” Owoyesigyire clarified.
He said the reports can only ascertained with medical evidence. He added that the only evidence gathered by police is that the girls were to be trafficked to a different country before adding that any other evidence will be ascertained as investigations continues.
