Unknown sources razed a boy’s dormitory at Creamland Nursery and Primary School in Iganga district last evening.
According to the school Headteacher, Baker Ssali, the fire outbreak occured on Monday in the evening while pupils were having supper.
“We are lucky that our boys were not in the dormitory when it caught fire. They’re having supper while others were already in class for night preps, they’re all safe and no pupil or staff was injured. However, all property was destroyed,” he said
Among the destroyed properties include beddings, suit cases, books among other pupil’s properties.
Nandawula Diana, the Busoga East police spokesperson confirmed reports of fire outbreak and said they have started inquiries into the cause of this fire.
