The Nyakasura School Alumni League is set to excite Fort Portal once again this weekend, as old boys and girls gather for match day three of the second season. The event, scheduled for Saturday at 8 am EAT, promises to be a thrilling encounter with a plethora of activities lined up.
Under the leadership of League President Joel Bala, the event will feature a mini basketball gala, showcasing teams from various cohorts, managed by Engogo’s Isaac Kasoro. The pre-game assembly will commence with a morning prayer at the historic Calwel Chapel, followed by an address from the school administration.
The league, despite being only a year old, has gained significant recognition in Uganda, attracting top talent like Benjamin Nyakoojo, Norman Namanya, and Deus Katuramu. The current season boasts 12 teams, with defending champions Blust Furnace remaining a strong contender.
This weekend’s event promises to be a memorable one, with the Nyash League continuing its unprecedented rise to prominence.
