The Ankole Music Queen, Omega 256, is set to thrill the crowd at the KISOBA league today with her captivating performance. The league, which is in its third season, has been gaining momentum since its inception in 2022.
The KISOBA league is an initiative of the Kitabi Seminary Old Boys Association, bringing together eighteen teams from various classes of old students. The league aims to promote corporate ladies’ football, social networking, and millennial ladies’ empowerment.
Omega 256, known for her energetic performances, will not only entertain the crowd but also lead her team, Omega SHE FC, in a friendly match against SCOGAH Select, a female team for Kitabi seminary (KISOBA) league. This exciting event is part of the league’s efforts to promote women’s football and empowerment.
The KISOBA league has been gaining popularity, with notable figures like Mr. Didas Orikiriza, the KISOBA chairperson, and Counsel Martin Byamukama, the KISOBA league president, actively supporting the initiative. The league has also established various pillars, including a sacco for financial development, a benevolent fund for members in need, and a business expo for showcasing and sales.
Today’s event promises to be an exciting encounter, with Omega 256’s performance and the friendly match between Omega SHE FC and SCOGAH Select at City High School Kololo.
