The founder and leader of the Faith of Unity, Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka, has joined the nation in celebrating 39 years of the ruling NRM party.
During his three-day visit to his Bukwenda in Kakabara at Ntuutu Intambiro (Healing Place) in Kigambo Subcounty, Owobusobozi Bisaka called upon his followers to support President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the government as they mark the 39th Liberation Day on January 26th at Mubende NTC.
In his address, Owobusobozi Bisaka expressed gratitude to President Museveni and his government, stating that without their support, the Faith of Unity would not have flourished. He praised the government for recognizing the Faith’s contribution to promoting peace and unity in Uganda. He acknowledged the president’s endorsement of the Faith’s work in uniting and healing people, both spiritually and physically.
During the visit, Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka welcomed over 450 new followers who converted from other religions to the Faith of Unity. Additionally, over 680 new staff members were inaugurated to teach the message of Unity. He urged them to maintain law and order while embracing government programs to improve their livelihoods.
Meanwhile, local leaders in Kyegegwa District, led by the area Woman Member of Parliament, Flavia Kabahenda, commended Owobusobozi Bisaka for his continued blessings and supporting government programs. She also encouraged locals to update their voters’ register.
Owobusobozi Bisaka is set to visit Hoima Bukwenda from January 29th to 31st, where he is expected to mobilize support for the NRM and President Museveni.
