The presidential advisor on agriculture Peace Rugambwa has fulfilled a pledge of mattresses to the people of Rukungiri district.
The mattresses were given to the members of different groups belonging to Boona Bageigahare Kyekundire Group South Western Uganda.
The beneficiaries included the bodaboda riders, elderly among others.

According to the Chairperson of Boona Bageigahare Kyekundire Group South Western Uganda, Rugambwa, more pledges she made to the people of western Uganda would be fulfilled.
The presidential advisor led the distribution exercise .
Rugambwa called on the beneficiaries to use the mattresses for the comfort of their family members.
The mattresses distribution exercise took place at Rwambara play grounds and Kagunga ward cell in Rukingiri district.
The presidential advisor asked the residents of Rukungiri to utilize the Parish Development Model (PDM) program.
She informed the residents that President Yoweri Museveni the NRM presidential flagbearer is committed to fullfill pledges made to the people of western Uganda.

The presidential advisor is mobilise support for candididate Museveni ahead of his campaign trail in Kigezi region. She urged the residents to turn up in large numbers and vote for Museveni come 2026 general elections.
The Electoral Commission has set January 15, 2026 as the voting date.
Team Peace Rugambwa is mobilising support for candididate Museveni during the campaign period. The residents jubilated and danced after receiving mattresses.
