Pr. Augustine Yiga alias Abizaayo, the lead pastor at Revival church ministries in Kawaala, a Kampala suburb is reportedly alive, his media house has reported.
“Whoever is saying that Pastor Yiga is dead, please and please stop. He is sound and safe and thank you,” ABS TV posted on social emedia.
The clarification follow news that a washed social media and blogs alleging the death of the man of God who has for almost a month been admitted in comma at St. Francis Nsambya hospital with liver functioning failures.
The controversial pastor was on March 28, arrested and detained to Kitalya maximum government prison after a video of him misleading the public that there was no corona virus in Uganda made circulations on social media.
He was later in May granted a bail and banned from making any comments on COVID-19.
Close sources said the Pastor’s health has since deteriorated until early this month when he was admitted at Nsambya hospital with alleged liver complications.
Yiga is reknown for his humorous teachings where he claim miraculous powers using several items including rings to heal his followers. He gained prominences from his own TV show ie  “Ki Kyolifa Tewerabidde” in which Christians testify on their faced challenges and how the pastor’ s prayers and annointment helped to overcome them.
By publication time, no any conformities had been established from the hospital.
