“Y’all play too much,” she wrote with a laugh, adding, “Unfortunately, I can’t. I will only call the woman who gave birth to me ‘mum’, so everyone must calm down.” Still, in good spirits, she congratulated the newlyweds, saying, “Wama congratulations beautiful Malaika!! I need two siblings.”

Her comments came shortly after photos went viral of her father, outspoken media personality and businessman Frank Gashumba, being introduced by his bride, Malaika Mutoni, in a traditional Kwanjula (Gusaba) ceremony held in Ssembabule district. The event was a colorful celebration that drew attention not just for the grandeur, but for the fact that it marked a romantic milestone for Gashumba, who many joked had spent “decades of bonkless nights.”

While social media users couldn’t get enough of the lighthearted family banter, others applauded the moment as a sweet new chapter for the Gashumba family.

As for Sheila, it seems she’s taking her role as the protective daughter in stride—with a hint of humor and a whole lot of love.
