This year, Grammy-winning saxophonist Kirk Whalum leads the lineup, bringing his smooth, gospel-laced jazz to the Pearl of Africa. With a career that includes collaborations with Whitney Houston and 12 Grammy nominations, he’s set to deliver a soul-stirring show. Alongside him, Uganda’s own Isaiah Katumwa, the trailblazing Tshaka Mayanja, and the vibrant Black Roots Academy of Soul round out a spectacular evening.

Headlining is Kirk Whalum, the smooth sax legend whose gospel-infused jazz has earned him global respect and 12 Grammy nominations. Sharing the stage are Uganda’s finest:
