Leaders in Soroti district have,on Saturday,20th of November 2021, embarked on a fundraising drive to raise funds to renovate Agora Seed Secondary school.
Agora Seed Secondary School is one of the seed schools Members of Parliament from Soroti earlier this month called for the establishment for. In total, they make two seed schools in the remote parts of the city.
The MPs decided that Agora Seed Secondary School will be established in Soroti West Division and another in Opuyo, Soroti East Division, with the reason that these communities are far from the city centre where schools are concentrated.The MPs’ main reason was that the two schools will serve rural communities, which were annexed to the city during boundary demarcation.
The people of Soroti, especially the FDC supporters, say that they do not regret entrusting their leadership in the hands of leaders like Joan Acom Alobo and Anna Adeke Ebaju.
