Team University (TU) is registering a steadfast rise after popular world academic rankings for higher institutions of learning named it among the best universities in Uganda.
Situated in Mengo Rubaga Division in Kampala, the university was late last year ranked the 23rd of the 47 Ugandan higher education institutions assessed. The rankings also placed the University in the 11,271 place as the best University in the world defeating the known odds at home.
According to an excerpt at uniRank website, the institutions are ranked basing on the following selection criteria; being chartered, licensed or accredited by the appropriate Ugandan higher education-related organization offering at least four-year undergraduate degrees (bachelor degrees) or postgraduate degrees (master or doctoral degrees) delivering courses predominantly in a traditional, face-to-face, non-distance education format
Our aim is to provide a non-academic League Table of the top Ugandan Universities based on valid, unbiased and non-influenceable web metrics provided by independent web intelligence sources rather than data submitted by the Universities themselves.
Team University fortunately met the required criteria giving it a landslide rise in the rankings.
It is a double win at the University after another world famous academic ranking site, Webometrics placed the institution in the 43rd position in Uganda with an impact rank of 24508.
Webometrics is the largest academic ranking of Higher Education Institutions in the world.
The rankings are done every after six months (since 2004) using an independent, objective, free, open scientific exercise performed by the Cybermetrics Lab (Spanish National Research Council, CSIC) for the providing reliable, multidimensional, updated and useful information about the performance of universities from all over the world based on their web presence and impact.
Founded in 2015, Team University (TU) is a coeducational Ugandan higher education institution officially recognized by the National Council for Higher Education offering courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study with a multicultural learning environment.
The university also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including as well as administrative services.
