The Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) spokesperson, Brigadier General Falvia Byekwaso has on January 11th, handed over office to her Deputy, Lt. Col Ronald Kakuru.
The Handover is an earlier a space time for Byekwaso, the UPDF outgoing spokesperson to prepare further for a National Defense college training course which she will be taking part.
“I have today officially handed over the office of Defence spokesperson to my deputy Lt. Col Ronald Kakurungu as I prepare to attend National Defense college.” Bwekwaso announced on her twitter page.
The function was presided over by the UPDF Joint Chief of Stuff, Major General Leopold Chanda at the UPDF General head quarters in Mbuya.
