Embattled football coach Wasswa Bbosa has been unveiled a new coach at Modern FC, formerly Gaddafi FC.
Bbosa will manage the newly christened club in the firth-coming 2022/23 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season on a two-year contract deal.
Speaking to journalists shortly after being unveiled, Bbosa said that his target is to set formidable side that will compete in the 2022/23 season.
“I promise the Gaddafi FC fans that the team is going to be competitive in the 2022/23 season. We are going for the league title and we are going to compete for it,” he said with a look of ecstasy on his face.
He will be assisted by Uganda Crested Cranes head coach George Lutalo and Zungu Hassan as first and second assistant respectively.
The team also named Sam Kawalya, the goalkeeping coach and Ayub Balyejusa, the physical fitness coach.
Coach Bbosa was in February sacked as the head coach at Express FC after he failed to replicate points at the club. He was replacex with James Odochi as an interim coach. He also worked in the same capacity at teams like the defunct Victors FC, Hoima FC, SC Villa, and Tooro United.
