It has come to question towards the end of the 2021-2022 UPL season whether there will be a trip to Western Uganda in the next season.
This is because of the continuous steady poor performance of the western Ugandan teams of Tooro United and Mbarara city FC.
The two western Ugandan ambassadors been off form throughout the whole season ,encountering both financial and management problems which may partly be the cause of the poor performance.
With 26 games played, Tooro United and Mbarara city FC are tightly seated in the relegation zone occupying 16th and 15th position respectively.
Tooro United has 2 wins ,4draws and 20 losses in 26 games clinching only 10 points,Mbara Mb city FC have also played 26 games with 5 wins ,7 draws and 14 games earning 22 points .
Witj few games to go Tooro’s survival hopes are slim and nearly impossible. Mbarara city FC though still have a chance for survival as Police FC,Busoga United FC and Solitilo bright stars who sit nearby are also struggling.
